Another image farther away:

August appears to be great for flowers. I have been walking around smelling and photographing plants that I think might be good candidates for brewing herbal infusions, so now I need to figure out which ones might actually be good for that.

There were a few of these plants next to each other, but not all of them had this bright purple coloration. I suppose there might be an acidic spot by the roots, but I'm not sure.

I think it's a vascular plant but I don't want to jump to conclusions

Gifted by my aunt in Spain, they both came in water. The only thing I know is the one in the left is some sort of Agave and the one in the right seems like a rootless cutting. Thanks in advance for your time

It was growing in full sun with no maintenance so basically a weed. Any help with identification would help.

Does anyone know what type of grass, or weed this is?

Hoping is it’s a grass that can be replanted; it has a cool look.

Not 100% in this one. I live in WV, USA. I want a second opinion, since the leaves on this are larger than what my PlantNet shows it is. I wont say what so no bias. It popped up and isn't a native.

This small tree has been growing in the edge of my property for a long time, at first I thought it was a young loquat. The fruit is about the size of a large cherry

Lemmy gave me an error when I tried to upload the image, so I used an image host https://i.postimg.cc/s2gjVGqH/20230703-095818.jpg

This is on one of my mother's maples. What is it and what should she do about it?

And by a while ago, I mean 2017, but I just stumbled upon it and remembered no one ever was able to identify it for me back then.

Edit: Forgot to say this is Indiana, USA.

About a year ago and this was just a couple of leaves that a storm washed out on the driveway. It's been sitting in a pot ever since, now over a metre long and with flowers. Can anyone ID please? (Australia, near Sydney- doesn't look native to me though)

I bought this plant at a flea market this weekend in Central Virginia, USA. I'm not sure what it is, however, and I want to make sure to take proper care of it. I was hoping you all could help. Thanks so much!
