Different colors than I usually use, obviously to invoke a feeling (plus this is from like 2003, all we had were yellow light bulbs).

His name was Artemis (but 10 year old me wrote it Artimus) and his death was very traumatic to me. I thought we didn't have any old photos of him, but I found one recently. I don't want to show my real face and the blog I had it on blurred my face anyways, so I decided I would do a tribute redraw. At least sketchy, like, with an obviously converted very 80s or earlier couch we had at the time.

I got the idea to do it last night as I slept, and I woke up at 2am and decided to just go at it until now at 6am so I guess in a way it's rushed, but I got the feeling I wanted out of it.

This is still weird of be working this large scale, figuring out things as I go.

Honestly I don't know with her, I just made a thing, as recently been doing them in different sizes.

Some of my more recent art got axed from the rollback on crystals.rest, but I got a nice variety of size sprites for a person I have decided to called Melon!

Used Pyxel Edit

I had to rollback the server due to some kind of issues to 8-28. Besides my own post, I don't think there was much missing. I just wanted to make sure you guys were aware.

I'm working on a redesign yet again, but I've also been having a good time doing different headshots and playing with extreme colors. yeeee.

My commissions are open for various things like 32px icons, 16px icon, and others, but specifically I've seen a focus on character portraits. I'm willing to work with indie game developers to create portraits for their characters in games, which includes different emotion, as well as idle animations, mouth movement, and blinking.

These examples I've shown here are part of my "skeb" like series in that there's minimal back and forth for those on a budget, but I do offer specifically more detailed prices on a very refined portrait. Regardless, you can just email me for a quote!

I drew this in Photoshop in ~3 hours using a reference. I tried to keep the color pallet pretty minimal. Thanks for checking it out!

still working on my learning to do any 2d visual art, and I was thinking about birds, so here's a particularly cute one! i took a single creative liberty by making the eye blue because it popped more. fairy wrens, by the way, are absolutely tiny! i recommend looking them up, they're delightful.

The jean palette reminds of Carl's sweatpants from ATHF lol. Feedback is always appreciated!

My character that represents me is a young anime tomboyish kinda girl.

I, obviously, am not. Closed the gap a little.

Here it is animated, because lemmy is TERRIBLE about uploading gifs.

(This is an older interpretation of Paul from the Pokemon anime)

I've given myself a hard limit of 1hour max for each of these. I've spent 30 - 40 minutes for each so far, the top right being the longest.

From OP (Not OC):

Golden Axe Warrior pixel-over. I think this game has actually split the 16 colour sprite palette into segments so enemies can be palette swapped... but here I just used all 16 colours.

I've been doing pixel art for a while now, and I've finally made something that I feel comfortable showing off. I don't feel it's as good as some of the other stuff I've seen around, but I got it to a state where I think it looks kinda cute.

Any feedback or advice would be welcome!

I just wanted to grab something to do with the chibi character model I have in clip, so did this.

Once again I am doing character art for my redesign. I really don't work this large, the biggest I get is 100x100. This image is 150px x 150px

This is one of my first pixel art drawing, i tried to draw a wolf howling at the moon. It came out decent, but i think i can do better... Probably i'll draw it again

After bingwatching all of Brandon James Greer's videos, I draw my first character: Babalisa.
Criticism and advice are more than welcome.
