My dad gave this to me for my 32nd birthday in late August. It's his old acoustic-electric that he doesn't play anymore because he has others. I appreciate the gesture a lot. When I was in middle school, I had an electric Ibanez that I didn't play much because my mom would complain whenever I'd try. After years of struggling, I've been stable in my own place.

No one can complain about me practicing or discourage me now. I think my dad is genuinely sorry for the time he said I'm "not a musician" and wouldn't let me take my old Ibanez from my childhood with me when I traveled to NY for a while. I already have several songs I want to learn in mind after I get all the cords mastered.

It's never too late to start when it comes to creative endeavors such as music. โค๏ธ I am incredibly grateful.

I'm ready to change out the neck, but I'm not sure whether to go the Pau Ferro route or the Roasted Maple. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ please help me out. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

Just installed a Music City Bridge Nashville blender into my Valley Arts Brent Mason. What a difference it makes to the old 3 nob blender system. Anyone using a Nashville style set up should check this kit out. A huge difference soundwise & to use too. Pick ups sound way more dynamic. I used the opportunity to dump the gold hardware while I was at it. ๐Ÿ˜‰

These two guitars have very quickly become a favourite pair of mine. Picked up the Jaguar Wednesday and threw a cover on the neck pup, Iโ€™ve got a switch on the way to be able to split the neck as well.

It's such a great little short-scale guitar, it sounds fantastic and it's easy to play, even with small hands. I'll probably have to refret it at some point, but I plan to keep it forever, so it'll just be an investment in an instrument I love. The colour is "root beer". The cat is Squeaky.
