I thought it might be a termite but I didn't think they had the thin body segment?

Could be a winged carpenter ant. They're basically termites, had some in a house years ago. You need to get rid of them ASAP, very bad.

Thin body segment makes me think some sort of wasp, like a potter wasp, mason wasp, sand wasp, or mud dauber, though it’s impossible to tell due to the quality of the picture (not enough detail) and because we have no idea where in the world you live. :)

At least knowing which continent would help a bit. Def not a termite tho.
