What do you mean? That sounds like adulation and I can't figure out why.
There is an infamous movie about this called Ai no Corrida/In The Realm of the Senses mostly known for the unsimulated sex and yes, it does have the castration scene. But as a film, it's surprisingly good and has a depressing story.
While visiting a friend from Mexico City back in the mid-90s, I saw this film - completely uncensored - at the UNAM main campus cinema, called Ciudad Universitaria. It was an old, beat up print, insufficiently lit with the audio too low, which only added to the otherworldly mystique of the whole experience.
