Awesome! I always try and get my desktop setup like first thing. Then the rest of the house looks like a box explosion disaster but hey at least I can work and play!!!

the only way to keep it clean is to remove one or two objects a day

[–] yokonzo@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

Just windows primarily but I’ve got Ubuntu on a separate drive for coding stuff

The Mousepad went to the Backrooms

[–] yokonzo@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

You know I never though about it but I really should get one

[–] Lolors17@feddit.de 2 points 1 year ago

I didn't havr one for ages, but then the color oft my table went slowly away. First I just used a piece of paper, but after realising, that paper might not be the best choice I got a mouse pad.

Good luck my man, just make sure to do little chunks if you can and give your back a break every now and then, that’s how I got through it

Somehow we managed to do the whole move in 1 day. Well at least moving all our stuff from the apartment to the house. Almost done with unpacking thankfully

Looking good, though I'll never understand two screen setups this. How does it not bother you having the two screens border directly in the middle?

[–] yokonzo@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

I usually just have a game on one screen and the internet in the other or for media editing, I agree trying to game with it stretched is impossible

How much does your PC weigh?

[–] yokonzo@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Probably a little over 60 pounds if I had to guess

[–] MrGeekman@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Yeah, that sounds about right. Mine is smaller and weighs about 40 pounds. I actually put it on my bathroom scale to see if it really was as heavy as I thought. Turns out, it is as heavy as I thought.
