Was the process for searching for magazines changed, or is it currently not working? (kbin.social)

When I go to search, I can search for threads, microblogs, and people, but the link to search for magazines appears to be missing today.

There are two ways of searching for a magazine:

Option 1: Go to the list of magazines and search there. Downside is that you will only find communities/magazines your kbin instance knows about (at least one person on your instance is subscribed to it).

Option 2: Enter the full name of the community/magazine into the general search ("newcommunities@lemmy.world" without the quotation marks, for example). This lets you subscribe to communities your instance didn't know about already. To find these communities/magazines your instance doesn't already know about, use something like lemmyverse (has a separate search for kbin magazines)

How exactly do I “go to the list of magazines”? I used to be able to click on the search icon and then click on “magazines”, however, as I mentioned in my op, that seems to be currently unavailable.

On mobile in the browser, you can either tap the hamburger in the top left and choose "Magazines" in the menu or scroll to the bottom and choose "Magazines" there.

I can't access a desktop rn, but I think it's in the sidebar or the bottom of the page.

It’s the same issue there. It only lists “threads”, “microblog”, and “people”, not magazines. I am on mobile. I am not asking because I never knew how to search for magazines in the first place, I am asking because I used to be able to search for magazines, but I currently seem unable to because the mechanism has been either changed (even from what you say,) or removed. Or there’s a bug.

Edit: here is a screenshot. You can see that there is no “magazines” link.

Edit 2: I seem to have figured it out. When you enable the top bar, it removes the “magazines” link from the usual locations and makes you click on “all magazines” on the top, which I actually prefer, except that the link doesn’t always seem to be there.
