So three months late in meeting their own deadline, the RCMP has issued a statement saying that they are aware that historically they haven't actually addressed similar recommendations, but this time it's totally going to be different but seemingly doesn't articulate what they are actually doing?

I'm willing to assume that this article (which is just a wire service piece) may not have delved adequately into the report itself, so I'm going to see if I can get my hands on it, but I think the RCMP needs to be significantly more candid and transparent.

Okay, I dug up the report, it's accessible on the RCMP website. . It's basically fluff - there's lots of talk of addressing culture and planning without much in terms of specifics. There's references to actions to be completed by the end of 2023 without actually explaining if it was successfully completed. I remain skeptical.
