I see random posts from lemmynsfw that aren't marked nsfw and it's quite jarring. Can I block the whole instance?

Edit: I should've googled first, there's an open GitHub issue:

Nothing in Lemmy, but we can set up something simple in the app. Let me look into it.

Not a problem, this is quite an issue. Anyway, we're got an issue raised and are looking at a possible solution: https://github.com/liftoff-app/liftoff/issues/371

There is currently no way in Lemmy to block and entire instance as a user. Only the admin can do that.

Connect allows this. I don't know how specifically, but it's possible on Connect

It would have to be client-side filtering. Just fetching and then not displaying affected posts and comments.

I haven't tried blocking an instance on connect but I find blocking communities can be hit or miss. I block all the nsfw ones and refresh and see the same posts I just tried to block

That's unfortunate. Thanks anyway :)
