If a MAGAtard gets pissed off that means they must be doing something right.

"No no no, he clarified that those who die are justified by wearing the badge... and that they were the chosen white, obviously he supports Qualified Immunity. No I've never heard of Sarcasm, is that a peasant thing?" - Republicans Unironically

is the changed lyric really all that different from the original lyric of "redneck agenda"?

Yes. When did punk rock become unsafe?

Low Quality Facts, @lowqualityfacts@mstdn.social

I am officially boycotting Green Day after they insulted the MAGA agenda on NYE. Punk rock should NOT be political. Punk rock is about and has ALWAYS been about the following:

-maintaining traditional family values.

-upholding the patriarchy.

-respecting authority figures.

-saluting the flag, standing for the national anthem, and unconditionally supporting the military.

I wholeheartedly support BJA and Green Day for the message of what they did, but holy shit I can't stand to listen to their music. I hate that I have to now make a whole "I swear I'm not MAGA" preface to my inability to tolerate them.

The American Idiot album is good and the anti-Bush aspect feels less political these days because everyone hates Bush now.

Maybe I'm a suckered for a rock opera though. I never got into their actual punk early stuff.

Nah, it's a tiny bit of extra effort. Fuck Green Day, but Fuck Fucking Trump. It's that extra bit that we've had to add on recently, like Fuck Hamas, but Fuck me, Fuck the fucking IDF.

Meanwhile, country went from 1.5/4 to 4/4
