Airplane! and/or Monty Python and the Holy Grail for movies.
For TV, I will watch Futurama, KotH, early episodes of the Simpsons and early eps of Family Guy. Not too much else comes to mind

One Foot in the Grave. I just wish they'd made more of them.
I put off watching What We Do In The Shadows because I thought the movie was overrated and kinda meh. But the show is fantastic.
Along the theme of some of your shows, I think you'd like Don't Trust the B--- In Apartment 23. Sadly they only made 2 seasons, but it's hilarious and deserved 6.
Jackie Daytona - regular human bartender.
Psych FTW! Come on, son!
Futurama gives me more comfort than any of my other comfort shows.
Half an hour, light, adult comedies in general for me. Animated ones are some of the most common in that theme.
Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy, American Dad, etc.
Futurama is my napping show. It makes me so comfortable that I can fall dead asleep.
Big same. I'll often turn it on when I'm having trouble falling asleep.
The 1986 animated film Transformers the Movie. I can almost quote the script along with the voice actors at this point. It's like a big fluffy blanket when I've had a truly awful day.
Fun fact: It was Orson Welles's last performance before his death.
As a series to sit down and watch, it's gotta be Mad Men, which I've seen all the way through three or four times.
As a series to watch in bed before sleep, it's the BBC's Richard Osman's House Of Games. It's cerebral yet fun and tension-free, as the four contestants are British celebrities vying for little prizes like fondue sets, bathrobes, pet feeding bowls and the like. All episodes are uploaded to YouTube.
As a series to drift of to sleep to, also from the BBC - Gardener's World. If you decide to pay attention, it's actually fascinating and entertaining, yet the tone is always soothing. Many full episodes are on YouTube.
