Current cancer treatments including radiotherapy and chemotherapy can cause secondary cancers too.

They sure do. That takes 10-20 years and in the meantime many patients experience an increased quality of life rather than a horrible death. I hope someday we develop a better method and I expect that doctors of the future will view this practice as barbaric, but at the moment it’s the best we got and better than nothing.

The ol' cancer-swappin' machine!

In the state of California, existence causes cancer. You can help prevent this by not existing.

Yeah, the purpose of the label is entirely defeated here, because almost everything has a label on it. I'm waiting for the day they have planes fly over with banners reading "breathing this air has been known to the state of California to cause birth defects and cancer"

I mean, it would probably be true, but still

I saw a video where the label said that the state of California causes cancer. Can't for the life of me find it, but it exists, and ot was an error label.

That's nothing new. Aside from resistance (vaguely the same mechanism as antibiotic resistance), some chemotherapy regimens could end up causing other forms of cancer - after all, fucking with DNA is what a lot of it does.

Irony sucks, huh.

You were the chosen one! It was said you would destroy the cancer, not cause them!

One of the most common side effects listed on anti depressants is 'may cause depression'.

So you don't know if it worked or not. Maybe it did work but you are suffering side effect depression. Who knows.

Give the cancer cancer!

It's kinda sad how we treat cancer today by literally injecting poison into our veins. I hope some day it will be like the flu. Couple pills, couple days of recovery, boom! No more cancer.
