I'm trying to subscribe to some kbin communities, such as https://kbin.social/m/archlinux

I'm using the URL: https://lemmy.world/c/archlinux@kbin.social

I'm pretty sure that's correct, but it's just telling me "can't find community", am I doing something wrong?

EDIT: Solved, thank you @KoboldCoterie@pawb.social!

  1. Go to search and search the URL of the community you want to join.
  2. Wait a few seconds.
  3. Still not there? Click search again.
  4. Still not there? Refresh and search one more time.
  5. Still not there? Contact your instance admins!

Try searching for 'https://kbin.social/m/archlinux' in your instance's search box. If it doesn't immediately show up, give it a few seconds, and if it still doesn't show up, click Search again. For what it's worth, that community does show up in my instance, so it's not a kbin problem.

@minimar
Use this link: kbin.social/m/archlinux in lemmy.
The different platforms will then connect automatically
