You're sane. Unlike the poor photographer who spent 19 hours fighting to stop these two cat snakes from slinking out of the sweaters while trying to snap a photo in the microsecond that they both looked in the same direction. Ferret photography is not for the weak.

Speaking as a ferret owner who every now and then tries to get them into a sweater or hat, I can 1000% agree with this statement.

My wife is complaining the turtle necks are not long enough for ferret proportions.

[–] ickplant@lemmy.world 8 points 11 months ago

Well, she's not wrong. Someone needs to knit better sweaters, stat!

[–] ickplant@lemmy.world 16 points 11 months ago (2 children)

I can't photoshop, so I asked DALL-E for your request. It... did not go well.

[–] name_NULL111653@pawb.social 15 points 11 months ago

No, no I think that's about right...

[–] randomsnark@lemmy.ml 7 points 11 months ago (1 children)

this improved my mental health

[–] ickplant@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago

In that case, it went quite well. Antidepressant turtles.

This cured my depression for a few hours. Thanks.

Glad to be of service! Come back if you need any of our anti-anxiety ferrets or the like.

[–] Lucidlethargy@sh.itjust.works 7 points 11 months ago

These Ferrets are sassy AF.

[–] Curious_Canid@lemmy.ca 7 points 11 months ago (1 children)

I appreciate that you said it "for" mental health, but not whether it's intended to be positive or negative. :-D

[–] ickplant@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

It will definitely have an impact either way.

"Yeah, he must work out"

I was thinking about getting ferrets but apparently they can have health problems and they don't smell great. Still love these long cats tho

[–] Voran@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago (1 children)

I want a ferret too but otoh don't feel like trying to save thousands for the adrenal gland surgery they all seem to end up someday needing.

[–] UnrepententProcrastinator@lemmy.ca 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Even with the gland removed they still sweat the smell

[–] Voran@lemmy.world 1 points 11 months ago

different glands
