Good. Abusive monopolies and already too big and too powerful corporations like Microsoft should never be allowed to become even bigger and more powerful They should be split up.

I never expected this deal to get as much trouble as it did. I still think it would eventually close, but it's interesting to see the issues it is facing.

Okay, I don't get it. If they can't close the deal in June, how has it sped up the process? Can anyone explain for a completely non-law person.

Makes sense, it's pretty clear Microsoft is trying to go for a monopoly over gaming. Kinda sucks a little since it would have been nice to have Microsoft clean up ABK like they did with Bethesda a bit. But that's also probably exactly why Microsoft is buying these companies, to avoid any backlash from consumers and make themselves look like the good guys.

While I also don't want a mega-corp overlord, I'd look forward of Microsoft acquiring Blizzard. Or anyone acquiring Blizzard, really. Something has to change in that company.
