Welcome to Let's Talk Philosophy. My name is Brett and my focus in the videos I create will be the illumination and exaltation of yesterday's and today's greatest philosophical minds. My goal is to not only convey their thoughts, ideas, and philosophies, but to also give these ideas practical meaning so that you may use them to better your own lives. What did a great and wise man such as Spinoza think of human suffering? There are many complexities in the philosophy of Spinoza which can make understanding this question difficult at times, and I am sure after this video more reading will be necessary to clarify it further. We must remember that Spinoza is not a philosopher who can simply be read, he must be studied.
