- Wait at least 2 months before reposting
- No explicitly political content (about political figures, political events, elections and so on), !politicalmemes@lemmy.ca can be better place for that
- Use NSFW marking accordingly
Laittakaa meemejä tänne.
- Odota ainakin 2 kuukautta ennen meemin postaamista uudelleen
- Ei selkeän poliittista sisältöä (poliitikoista, poliittisista tapahtumista, vaaleista jne) parempi paikka esim. !politicalmemes@lemmy.ca
- Merkitse K18-sisältö tarpeen mukaan
I'd watch that Numberphile video
After this I won't ever complain about English spelling system any more.
Other European languages having phonetic spellings fail miserably e.g.
- Italian undici + due = dodici + uno
- Spanish: once + dos = doce + uno
- Fr*nch: onze + deux = douze + un
- Romanian: unsprezece + doi = doisprezece + unu (almost there! only a "u" remains)
日本語:十一 + 二 = 十二 + 一
It works in japanese just fine, in large part because it's (written and phonetic) just "ten one" and "ten two"
Have my upvote for menioning Romania
You can also rearrange the letters in "Mother In Law" to read "Woman Hitler"
