Until recently, #AltText⁣s showed in #FireFox as a small box when I hovered over an image. Now, not any more. 🙁

Is this a bug or a feature, or does it only happen to me?

If this is a new setting, where can it be re-enabled?

Looks like the fix of Firefox's longest surviving bug introduced another bug.

Yes. You found a “child” of the most ancient bug.

File a bug report on bugzilla.mozilla.org (search “tooltip” for duplicates first!) and mention it using its number tag in the famous Bug #148624 thread so that its 55 subscribers take notice.

It should take no more than 22 years to fix.

The problem disappeared after restarting #Firefox.
