- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That sounds super important and necessary for like safety of entire cities/states and a really bad idea to get rid of.
When we sell the nuclear secrets to two bit dictators and pocket the billions of dollars through our good-for-nothing son in law, we don’t want any unnecessary regulations. Do we now?

They’re 70% pandering to trump’s supporters and 30% hoping they can commit similar crimes themselves. 0% for the reasons they’re claiming.
MAGA will happily swallow their excuses, though, and crusade for them.

This isn't new. Rick Perry's campaign ended when he couldn't remember which ones he wanted to dismantle.
Then, no kidding, he was put in charge of the one he couldn't remember.
Except he came to realize the value of that agency. He didn't do the Republican thing where you get in charge of an agency, ruin it, and then claim Democrats are responsible for ineffective governance. He actually advanced its mission.
Someone needs to press them on WHY they want to eliminate them.

Someone should run on the platform to abolish the Republican Party.

Republicans have wanted this for as long as I’ve been alive. I remember my parents talking about it in the early 90’s.
This is America. It's not a longshot idea because this country is lame when it comes to anything other than raping lives for money and power.
