NGL, it's been so long since we've had any new F-zero I'd even be satisfied if all we get is Capt Falcon being added to Mario Kart 8.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

It is always good to remember that we must be wary of rumors, but some people behind big leaks benefit from a certain reliability thanks to their record track.

Today, Twitter/X user @Pyoro_X appears to be teasing future announcements surrounding Donkey Kong and F-Zero.

In case you were 𝓦𝓞𝓝𝓓𝓔𝓡ing what games will be announced in this week's #NintendoDirect:– A new 2D #SuperMarioBros– Remake of a SNES classic

As a reminder, a potential Donkey Kong game by the team behind Super Mario Odyssey had been mentioned in 2021.

Although it is highly anticipated by part of the community, it is unlikely that we will be entitled to a new F-Zero (hoping that the future proves us wrong of course).

Availability via Nintendo Switch Online remains the most plausible case, but a remaster cannot be ruled out either.

The original article contains 376 words, the summary contains 136 words. Saved 64%. I'm a bot and I'm open source!

I really, really doubt that we will see an F-Zero game on the (current) Switch. The series has always been used to test/prove out some new tech that Nintendo wants to build into other, bigger games (mostly Mario Kart but not exclusively). We're too far into the Switch's lifecyle for that, unless maybe Nintendo wants to learn more into something like online functionality (yeah, right).
