I don't have high hopes for this circuit. Even if people want to let you pass, it seems hard to pass. I love the theory of the layout and the banked corners are wonderful, but current F1 cars just seem too big to race here.
It does make me wish, they'd force cars to be smaller again.
With driver safety paramount, I donβt think weβll ever see smaller cars again. Not unless we have a materials revolution.
I used to blame tracks for poor racing but you're right: modern F1 cars are way too big and bulky, even accounting for their extra safety measures.
So curious how all teams start the second half of the season! And there is a chance it's dry.
