I dunno - ego can be a big factor as well, even regardless of the pursuit of money.

I want to upvote but the grammar my man...

"What do Big Tech CEOs care about?" or simply "Focus of Big Tech CEOs:"

What does care!?

How do you write that and not realise it makes no sense?

I just returned from the Red Hat Summit in Germany.
All they ever talked about were "partners" (that's IBM, Microsoft, Intel, etc) and "customers" (that's the big companies they want to sell their products to, mostly corporate banks and insurance companies).
The "users" of the software would be the employees of the customers.
They were only indirectly mentioned, by praising the "efficiency gains" of the products, which will "alleviate the skilled labor shortage".
So the goal of implementing the new products (with Cloud, Automation and AI!) is to allow the customers to fire the users and let the Big Tech Company manage (and control) the workloads instead.

I do, it is about 1/3 of a pixel tall between the red and orange.

i see a blue rectangle left to "users", so yes i see blue color 😉

but i'ld rather disagree, ceo's usually are instinct driven hunter/gatherers for boni i.e., they don't "care" , because "caring" assumes actions that help something grow or at least stay available but ceo's usually destroy along their way while hunting or taking no matter if that destroys the company, the market, country or even the whole planet. no, ceo's don't "care", they consume and create chaos meanwhile. caring is not what they do.
