There is a whole lot of Removed by mod here that might explain it.

Going deeper into the DNC echo chamber wont change anything though. Also i find it curious that people seeing the end of the world coming towards them leave their attempt at stopping it at "whelp i voted". Almost as if you are consistently fed the gaslighting lie, that voting once every four years for the candidate, that the DNC designates you to vote for, should be all you ever do politically.

Hot take: Withholding voting for either party is a valid form of protest when neither party is standing for its people.

If they want to win the support of their constituents, its high time to change how the party is going to operate going forward.

First of all, it's your vote and it's up to you to cast it (or not) as you see fit. Anyone saying you have an obligation to use it a certain way is violating fundamental democratic values. But other people likewise have the right to judge your decision.

I would say not voting for one of the main parties would show them that the distinction between them doesn't matter, and so their leadership does not need to be more or less radical to cater to you. And not voting for even a third party shows that effectively no one can meet your standards, so policymakers can entirely ignore whatever it is you care about.

Protesting with your vote, like all protests, only works when your actions actually motivate the intended recipients to act as you want them to. Otherwise, it's just performative self-indulgence.

When the choice is between 100% Hitler and 99% Hitler, you vote for 99% Hitler.

My vote is for not having any Hitlers. Lesser of two evils is not the world we want to work towards.

Less evil is always worth working towards.
