I played HL2 when it came out but never played HL1 until around 2018. Some how I never learned about jump-coruching, do you know how much harder HL1 is when you can't jump onto crates? I had to walk the entire underground train level.
I wanna say there's an option for auto crouch-jumping even in HL1 classic, but I could be wrong. I know it's a thing in Black Mesa
Half Life 2 base now includes the Episodes and they have been delisted. The only thing in The Orange Box now really is Portal, since Lost Coast is also delisted and TF2 is free. Still a great deal tbh for one game, but you don't need it for basically any item in there.
They took away Lost Coast? I know they removed HL2 2D because of some burned in ads but Lost Cost was 100% Valve material.
AFAIK Lost Coast is now included in HL2
If it’s free, it is for me.
