I think electing Kamala would increase division because the last time we had a black president the racists lost their fucking shit.

To which I say: Good. Fuck those assholes. Die mad.

This is why I want a woman president so bad. Clinton was a weak candidate but Harris is stronger. Once Harris wins, the misogynists and incels will all lose their minds. So will the bigots and racists. It's like one stone, hitting multiple angry hateful birds in one win.

I want to see it. "GUD DAMN WOMUN NI...HOW DARE SHE WIN HGUHFSGHSG!!"

Clinton had a hell of a resume for POTUS, but just isn't the most likable candidate. The DNC really should have rallied behind Bernie Sanders and we might have pulled off 2016.

Even then, she won the popular vote. By a lot.

[–] Nytixus@kbin.melroy.org 4 points 5 days ago

She's a weak candidate considering that:

She's not the Bill Clinton that built America back up through the 90s that H.W Bush and Reagan ruined and prior to the Monica incident.

She took away all momentum from Bernie Sanders, who people did actually want. This was 2016 so it was a chaotic mess where SJWs existed so they were more about "we need the first woman president to make history!" without caring that Hillary was the corporate representative side of the Democrats. Something we absolutely did not need.

So she's no Bill Clinton and Bernie Sanders was taken away from us. Now we were down between a rock and a hard place between Clinton and Trump. Sure, the popular vote might've been in Clinton's favor. However I still to this day think that we just had no choice ultimately. Same venue with Biden vs Trump.

Are there any Democrats endorsing Trump?

Yes, the 'Democrat' Gabbard.

I'm kind of surprised Joe Manchin isn't. Though I guess he's not quite as far the along the sham Democrat path as Gabbard.

[–] themeatbridge@lemmy.world 21 points 5 days ago

She joined the Republican party, though.

[–] MeekerThanBeaker@lemmy.world 13 points 5 days ago

Can't spell "Tulsi Gabbard" without "Buglibastard."

I don't know what a buglibastard is, but it doesn't sound good.

[–] Nytixus@kbin.melroy.org 9 points 5 days ago

Mostly former Democrats who've fallen from grace, got hit on the head the way down and now endorse him. Like Tulsi Gabbard.

I wish I loved anything as much as Manchin loves the filibuster. Even my own children.

He loves it so much, he even cares about it when he's not running.

I wish I loved anything as much as Manchin loves the filibuster.

Never have I been so creeped out by something I agree with 100%
