The slide was so massive that there are trees still standing in the land they were rooted in but that land is now at the bottom of of the hill where the river was.

In a day or so the dirt will be saturated with the backed up water and it will give way.

Don't be anywhere close to that river tomorrow or the next day.

This is very cool from a geological processes standpoint, but I hope everyone will be okay. Best case scenario, the dam is intact until water overflows, and then it cuts a nice channel through the landslide over a few days. One can hope.
