Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

for me she will always be the alternative facts lady, putting those two words together was really something special

Her husband was a huge and balanced Trump critic. It's amazing and kind of sad that they stayed together through the Trump presidency only to divorce in 2023. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/kellyanne-george-conway-announce-divorce-rcna73451

I wonder what happened to her poor daughter, who she emotionally, and arguably sexually abused.

[–] jonne@infosec.pub 6 points 3 months ago

I missed the whole divorce part. Good for them, I guess?

[–] vividspecter@lemm.ee 19 points 3 months ago (2 children)

For me it was: judge Trump by what’s in his heart, not what comes out of his mouth which plays into the ability of conservative voters to selectively ignore parts of Trump's beliefs and actions that don't suit them.

she was a gift that kept on giving

[–] evidences@lemmy.world 7 points 3 months ago (2 children)

As much fun as she was the peak trump press secretary moment was Sean Spicer hiding in the bushes from reports.

[–] very_well_lost@lemmy.world 2 points 3 months ago

Excuse you, he was amongst the bushes.

Seriously! The extra humor is the similarity between that imagery and the Genesis story, like Spicer was Adam hiding from god. The right's fallen press secretary playing out the fall of man story from their own cherished book.

Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden.

Like a large cyst?

The cult really doesn't believe what he says. They just want to be on the hero wagon.

[–] ChronosTriggerWarning@lemmy.world 10 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Don't forget that she posted revenge porn of her own underaged daughter.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 4 points 3 months ago

Wait. What? I missed that. If true: holy shit.

[–] TokenBoomer@lemmy.world 6 points 3 months ago (1 children)
[–] worldwidewave@lemmy.world 6 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (2 children)

revenge leaked nudes of her underage daughter

[–] gibmiser@lemmy.world 6 points 3 months ago (1 children)

No. Tell me that's not true. What deranged shit brain is able to justify that

[–] ChronosTriggerWarning@lemmy.world 5 points 3 months ago (1 children)

It's true. Daughter said something slightly disparaging on social media. Mother of the year responded by posting nudes she found on her minor daughter's phone.

[–] gibmiser@lemmy.world 2 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Tell me she got charged for CP

[–] Passerby6497@lemmy.world 2 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

I'm not seeing anything after the 2021 articles about it so........

[–] EleventhHour@lemmy.world 29 points 3 months ago (1 children)

With so many people shittalking Vance, how can they narrow it down to just her?

Did she claim to be the couch or something?

[–] cdf12345@lemm.ee 27 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Maybe she’s seen the couch up close

Good job

Watching the train wreck of turnip supporters eat each other alive is hilarious.

Don't get complacent, get out and vote.

[–] just_another_person@lemmy.world 9 points 3 months ago

I'm sure she is. She's absolutely incapable of not being in the room for decisions and letting it go. Positive JD as a pick was one of those moments. She's an insane narcissist like Trump and his kids.

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 8 points 3 months ago

Who isn’t?

[–] RizzRustbolt@lemmy.world 5 points 3 months ago

I would like to watch that fist-fight.
