Definitely not an expert but it looks like a rough strawberry root weevil

Yep, it’s a weevil. They like cool damp places and regularly crawl around the walls of my bathroom. They’re harmless, slow, and adorable.

What's the sense of scale here? My monkey brain says it looks an inch long, and that makes me fear the fleas around your location.
