It's about time. It's absolutely insane the amount of corruption journalists like Jordan shanks unveiled

And if you see all the crap happening in America, it suggests that we don't even know the full extent.

In particular, it's pretty obvious that real estate and mining sectors are doing dodgy donations

This legislation won't prevent those industries from influencing politics.

Electoral donations are kind of arms length influence. I think we are well beyond that in SA where politician's families and future careers are deeply intertwined with the businesses and organizations seeking influence.
