I've been really into the wow lore lately, I know some people aren't a fan but I really quite like the systems they've made.
I think it's really interesting that we've seen an equivilant of the titans for the force of death as well. Do people think the Naaru are the equivalent for light, or is there a force above the naaru even more closely tied to the force of light?
If the next expansion focused on one of the forces we've not seen, what would people most like to see? We don't know much about Life apart from what the titans and azeroth beings have done. While the legion is gone, there may very well be still the titan equivilant for disorder, I could see an expansion set around going into the twisting nether. Of course the most likely is focusing on the void and finding out more about the forces behind the old Gods.
Blizzard has long enforced a balance between Light and Shadow. Unlike Arcane (Order) and Fel (Chaos) which oppose each other but do not directly interact, Light and Shadow seem to have some dependency upon each other. Priests in the WoW universe channel both light and dark magics. The naaru appear to have a dark phase that is a natural part of their life cycle. If there are pure light beings, a counterpoint to the Void Lords, then I expect they will be introduced in the long awaited Light vs. Void expansion. Then we can have a formal pantheon of Light and Void. Personally, I would love to see an option to separate the balance between Light and Shadow. I would totally play a holy DPS priest and I would like to see my shadow priest have void shields and other shadow equivalents of his holy only spells.
Definitely, I'd love a holy DPS, I know the role is kinda there with paladins but nothing beats a ranged clothie, completely different vibe.
On the flip side I'd love to see a paladin consumed by shadow and void, doesn't even need to be gameplay, could be an NPC in the story.
