The Agora
In the spirit of the Ancient Greek Agora, we invite you to join our vibrant community - a contemporary meeting place for the exchange of ideas, inspired by the practices of old. Just as the Agora served as the heart of public life in Ancient Athens, our platform is designed to be the epicenter of meaningful discussion and thought-provoking dialogue.
Here, you are encouraged to speak your mind, share your insights, and engage in stimulating discussions. This is your opportunity to shape and influence our collective journey, just like the free citizens of Athens who gathered at the Agora to make significant decisions that impacted their society.
You're not alone in your quest for knowledge and understanding. In this community, you'll find support from like-minded individuals who, like you, are eager to explore new perspectives, challenge their preconceptions, and grow intellectually.
Remember, every voice matters and your contribution can make a difference. We believe that through open dialogue, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to discovery, we can foster a community that embodies the democratic spirit of the Agora in our modern world.

What do you expect to be done if your complaint lacks any information which can result in action by instance mods and admins?
They're a dedicated shit poster for sure, but rule breaking? idunno
That's really a good use case for the block feature.
aaand this is how you know that valid concerns are being treated as if they are worthless feelings or opinions, great job guys (I know that there are for real whiny people like this but seriously).
I just spent 20 minutes writing a wall of text about this exact thing, so no I didn't think I was being dismissive?
Text is sometimes a poor medium...
I'm not saying "shut up and just block them", I'm saying "sure, let's talk, but know that you can block them in the meantime"
I've blocked dozens of people who weren't outrageously breaking rules but whom I wanted nothing to do with.
There's nothing inherently wrong with blocking.
Okay fair enough. Text can be a very poor medium.
Also it's a bit frustrating because I bring up something that is potentially a serious problem to the health of the instance, because getting defederated or even raided (dramaticcat might not get us raided or widely defederated but our other user who I've disclosed to the admins but not publicly for my own safety might). So obviously it's imperative that I not block either of them on this account.
For the record I do block people on my main account (and did block them there), I block a lot of people and communities (probably will do instances when that's available), it's also kind of the point of why I'm doing it here and not on my main (that and I don't want death threats, DDoS, and Porn sent to me, again dramaticcat isn't my main concern with that one, the unnamed user is, I decided to bring two issues at once because I figured people would think I was dog-piling to bring them up in separate issues (I'll make a note not to do it again in the future).
