A gaming sub free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

I replay Grandia every few years. It was one of the first games I bought with my own money, and still to this day it's one of my favorites.
I've heard people consider the beginning of the game the weakest part, though I have sort of a soft spot for it.
Regarding the graphics, it was originally a Sega Saturn game, and was later ported to PS1. Maybe that's why it looks so unique.
I loove Grandia. Slowly playing it on my Vita, and I've loved the environments a lot. The YouTuber Hazel is the one who introduced it to me, her cozy jrpgs video has a lot of bangers.
