Welcome to our virtual third place, The Café.

Come on in and make a new human connection over a cup of coffee (or Teh Tarik). This is a casual community, do whatever you want, share your oyen pics, your frustrations, and even organize a weekend picnic with the community. The world is your oyster.

Rules are simple, be kind and civil with each other. As with any other café, rude patrons will be kicked out.

Or you could try vents? They are more subtle.

On the contrary I think tuning it makes it more reliable, it’s possible to run a safe tune and lower the boost. Can even retain stock power. May need specialised ECU and specialist for that sort of 3D tuning tho.

Hopefully not too many issues there and ECU like what you did to the car. I have a few friends with untuned modified car, runs so rich it stinks lol.

But..muh sleeper. It's being tested this week, we'll see if it has any problems with cooling.

I wouldn't say the engine is modified though, it originally came in the Daihatsu Mira L5, my cousin bought the halfcut and stuffed it in his car. So the engine is technically "stock" because we didn't do any modifications. I originally thought you meant the orginal ECU as in the one that came in the halfcut.

wait, it came turbocharged from the factory? i thought you're doing a full turbo swap or sth. if that's the case tuning probably isn't warranted.

Yep, some JDM models came with a turbo. Only 63 horsepowers and limited to 140kmph.
