Not a fan of using a school shooter as a meme format
yeah, thats kinda not good. i didn't know what the guy did, i saw a couple of scenes where he tried to plead insanity to get out of his responsibillity. thank you for bringing this up.
I don't know how it is in the USA but here pleading insanity is not a way to "get out of your responsibility", it can actually be a risky move because you are at risk of being imprisoned for the rest of your life. While a normal life sentence normally isn't a life sentence.
I watched this on some youtube channel that goes over and analyzes police interviews to show the tactics being used and so forth. This particular case is in some video "What pretending to be crazy looks like". As I understood it, in the US people judged insane cannot be sentenced to prison, but instead they are sent to some institute for a long long time which is much worse than regular prisons if you're a sane person. But a lot of people don't know this, and think that they can act crazy and just get nice therapy sessions or something.
