Sadly, this is actually true, people actually don't know simple math and operation order.

And they ask me why I hold such low expectations for the future ๐Ÿคฆ.

Totally. And I've noticed most people don't even know the best kind of brush to use when inking over pencil on smooth bristle board. They don't even know the difference between natural and synthetic!
