Come on people, this is a strawman fallacy at its finest. Let's at least try to be objective so we can have interesting conversations, and not turn this into an eco chamber for one of the sides.

I'll admit that my own bias is left-leaning, but I'm not sure I see much of a strawman here. If you pick the most extreme groups in either camp, one side calls for the protection of certain groups (through admittedly questionable means) and the other seeks to take others' rights away (through those same questionable means). Could this be a case of 'truth has a left leaning bias'? Open to hearing otherwise though!

When you reach the totalitarian ending of either side you get groups of people murdered in mass and only the ruling class and their cronies have anything.

Well no, you really don't. That would mean your definitions were wrong to begin with. But certainly there are horrible people of many backgrounds.
