OUTBURSTS OF EVERETT TRUE BY CONDO

Everett True: "DO YOU THINK IT IMPROVES THE ORCHESTRA MUSIC BY THUMPING TIME TO IT WITH YOUR FEET? IT DOES NOT!"

Everett True is angrily addressing a man sitting next to him at an orchestra performance. Everett has a stern look and is raising his clenched fist striking the man. The man being addressed looks startled and scared, with his mouth open in surprise and one hand raised defensively. Two other onlookers are visible, both watching the scene unfold with a look of mild amusement.

Two men are sitting on a bench. One man (Everett True) is large and wearing a dark coat. The other man is small and dressed in a light-colored suit with a hat. The small man is staring intently at a third man.

(Panel 2)

Everett True: It's very plain, mister, that the man sitting opposite has lost an arm, and it's plain also that your staring annoys him!!! Why not ogle me?—I've lost my temper!!!

Everett True kicks the man in the light-colored suit off the bench. The man is thrown to the ground with his hat flying off.

OUTBURSTS OF EVERETT TRUE By Condo

(Panel 1) A man in a long coat and hat is speaking to Everett True. The man appears to be trying to justify his actions, gesturing with his hands and referencing the Bible. Everett True, dressed in his usual heavy coat and hat, stands listening, looking unimpressed.

Man: "AND SO, EVERETT, I INSIST THAT MY ACTION IN THE MATTER WAS WHOLLY JUSTIFIABLE. AS YOU KNOW, IT SAYS IN THE BIBLE THAT ..."

(Panel 2) Everett True is seen aggressively shoving the man into a large wooden crate, causing the man to fall back, losing his hat in the process. The force of Everett's push has busted the crate open, and the man appears to be tumbling inside. Everett stands in the foreground, having just completed the push, with an assertive posture.

Everett True: "I CAN ALWAYS TELL WHEN YOU'RE IN A TIGHT PLACE! YOU FALL BACK ON MISQUOTING THE SCRIPTURES!! FALL BACK ON SOMETHING ELSE FOR A CHANGE!!!"
