This was a wild ride to say the least.

I was intimidated by formula C(#f3) in #iracing due to its longer race lengths. I'm more accustomed to shorter sprints. Huge fans of SF23 sprint format.

Finally did my first few F3 races at #vir and boy they're fun.

The first race wasn't super great, but my second race was fantastic. A midsplit race, ended up with p3.
Was battling most of the race so I didn't even realize the length. Huge fan now.

Kinda fun to just recreate paints from images. The logos I can't find online was a pain though.

You can get it on Trading Paints for the FIA F4

Some new rbrhuds became available this week. Check them out the i20 coupe WRC 2020 and the i20 R5. Both look awesome. Check out the RallySimFans Discord to download and install them.

I have been loving the Daily Stages provided by RallySimFans Plugin. Its is awesome way to check out new stages and new cars. This was a challenge from La Atalaya with its many awesome banked hairpins to Pribram R with its patches of slick gravel. Neither stage disappoints. At a modest 16.7km this was a great time and a awesome place to take the old VW Golf II.

Hello everyone welcome back. After all that talk about the Golf last upload I figured I needed to take stroll through the beautiful Rosciszow Walim stage. This is based on a real stage in a real rally.

Check out this awesome onboard footage of @michamarczewski1756 it in the Skoda Rally 2 Evo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QR9RbwOFw14&t=19s

Not really much else to say other than to share my disappointment (but not surprise).

Hello guys,

I'm thinking about to add a triple monitor to my rig but I have a doubt, must I select flat or curved monitors?

If you could tell me why of your selection will be great.

Thanks in advance for your replies

Hello everyone I just wanted to share my video on the setup for irTracking with RBR. I really enjoy using it and its been a great addition to an already awesome game. You gotta see RBRHud also its a real game changer for this sim.

cross-posted from: https://infosec.pub/post/3508656 . I made some modifications since the last rig post, thought I'd cross post here too.

I don't have a lot of space where my desk is but wanted a combo space combat and racing rig that was fully rigid except for the seat.

The chair sits in a wheel trough with some 3d printed wheel chalks that fit the wheels exactly so it doesn't really move much at all when braking.

Everything is running on Linux using a lot of SDL and input device spoofing hacks to get it all recognized correctly in games. I mostly play DirtRally2.0, BeamNG, AMS2, and Overload. Trying to get into Elite Dangerous but it's not really my type of game. Maybe it will be some day though. Also play a little RBR but not all that much.

List of gear:

T300rs with a R383 Mod wheel - tmff2 driver. I designed a "quick" release ring so it's not a pain to take the wheel off for flight.

Heusinkveld Ultimate+ pedals - protopedal or xboxdrv depending on the game

TH8A shifter - heavily modified to fit in the small space I had and with a 3d printed short throw plate that I designed. It's not ideal, but works for occasional use.

Some ebay handbrake - I use xboxdrv for this sometimes if necessary but most games can find it. I also modified it to be mounted under the plate for a bit more space on top.

Gladiator NXT EVO Omni Throttle (Left and Right hand models) - These are a pain in most games. I use a winehid hack where I adjust the registry values HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE System CurrentControlSet Enum WINEBUS VID_231D&PID_{200,201} {Service, CompatibleIds} from xinput to winehid. This works but depends on the bus the device is currently connected to. Looking for a better SDL env var alternative but haven't got it working yet.

Acer Nitro 37.5" QHD+ 3840 x 1600 curved display

NextLevelRacing "Wheel Stand 2.0" - I made some steel parts for it on the mill to increase rigidity, 3d printed spacers for the adjustable arms to tighten them up a bit since the stock ones are a bit sloppy, and made some extra plates for mounting the sticks and other stuff out of 10mm aluminum plate.

VKB UCM-S drop mount brackets for the sticks. I modified these as well to fit under the aluminum plates. The left one is hinged so that it can be folded upwards to get in and out of the chair when the chair wheels are fixed in place.

annnd... yes I know the shifter and handbrake are reversed... I like it that way.

I started doing some laps on it in GT7 over the weekend since IMSA is running the Petit Le Mans this weekend. Makes me feel slightly better when I see a pro driver mess up a corner that I do. Plus it makes identifying where cars are running a bit easier.

The new hud is amazing. My seat position is a little close so I started using AiTrack to help still see the gauges, This is just me messing around on the new stage. Enjoy

Teammate got into a bit of an incident just as the race started in a bottom-split IMSA field of just GTPs at Road Atlanta. I decided to make a little edit along with more regular clips of the scene.

RCO is a matchmaking system like LFM, but for AMS2. Their new season starts today.

Changes for the new season include:

  • Many people were sad that Green Hell was only once a week and/or at a time they couldn't join, so it is now a Daily again. You can find it under the Hourlies, although it will only run once every 3 hours. We hope this will give each time zone (and shift workers) at least one feasible time slot each day, while still grouping as many players as possible together on the grid.
  • In place of the Green Hell Weekly, we now have Oddball Tuesday: as the name suggests this should not be taken too seriously, it is a collection of strange requests we sometimes get and fun stuff we see online and like to try for ourselfes. This season there is Copa Truck on a normal track and a small oval, RX cars on a road course, there are kart races on a kart track and on an Grade 1 F1 track (barely...). And we'll start off with the fan-favorite Copa Classic B's on arguably the best fictional kart track in the world
  • Buskerud Long. It's a blast, but mind your Safety Rating 😅
  • Premier Cup will run the F-USA 2023's again
  • We are working on giving Oval and Endurance series manual rolling starts to make them feel more realistic and to try to stamp out some quirks in the automatic starting procedure. Let us know if works and if it is better this way.

If you're interested, check racecraft.online or their Discord.

I'm just a driver myself, not affiliated with RCO, but I thought I let people know by posting this here.

With the new GTPs out I'm just curious to hear what everyone will be driving. My teammates and I are driving the Porsche GT3. Seems to handle the curbs the best out of the GT3s we tried.

After being nearly killed by bad updates and setups from iRacing. They finally got it right with the Radical SR10 this summer. Now it provides great racing far into the duration. If you are on iRacing, get on that car. The busiest timeslots are around the European evenings.

This stage was a ton of fun and quite the challenge. I was happy to make it all the way through.

Hello guys,

I'm looking for rounded wheel for my simucube 2. Actually, I have a formula one but I would like to have another rounded.

I like cube control that is D-form but could be valid for my.

Could you recommend me one?

Thanks
