After following the instructions provided by NewPipe to download my subscriptions list for import, I get a .zip file with nothing but an HTML file within. No data related to subscriptions at all. If I opt to download an export containing all my Youtube data, then I get a couple of folders for History and another data subset but nothing for subscriptions.

I thought at first this may have been an issue related to the private status of my subscriptions list on my Youtube account, but even after toggling privacy off for my subs, I still cannot get a .zip from Youtube containing a .csv of my subscriptions.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I'm on NewPipe version 0.25.1 with a Fairphone 3 on /e/OS Android 9. I get my NewPipe updates from F droid.

Just this evening, I noticed that whenever I play a video from certain channels, specifically Mr Beast and MrBeast Gaming, the audio is dubbed over with some other language. I know YouTube is meant to be testing a feature of allowing channels to have dubbing for different languages, but I wasnt sure if this feature has already been rolled out. If it is, its possible that New Pipe is playing these videos with a dubbing but there doesnt seem to be a way to change the language back to standard English. I'm curious if anyone else experiences this or if there is a way to fix it.

I've exported my subscriptions and playlist in JSON format, but newpipe only lets me import subscriptions.

I don't quite get it. Are things like #newpipe or #invidious legal or not? Wouldn't #YouTube do everything to stop such services?

More and more frequently i stumble across links to various Invidious instances. Instead of opening the link with NewPipe it gets opened in the browser. Which is not as bad of an experience as YouTube but still a worse experience than watching the video in NewPipe.

TL;DR: Is there a way to make NewPipe open links from various Invidious instances?

@newpipe Habe keine Probleme mit Newpipe, auch keine Komfortwünsche. Habe vorallem eine Möglichkeit einen großen Bogen um YouTube/Google zu machen.

Anyone got a fast #Piped instance they wanna put to good use?

I'm trying to use @libretube to keep @newpipe @peertube -only, but the default instances I've tried so far are pretty slow 🥺

YouTube Vanced shut down a year ago. I think it was quite popular for watching YouTube on Android. @newpipe looks like an interesting alternative.
