I've just provided a small snapshot, because its traumatic to write it all down. But the reality is so much worse, hence this attempt. Caste atrocities and Brahmin purity culture are India's best kept secrets, because even the perps know it is inhumane and barbaric. Now they're emboldened to normalise their purity culture outside India because oppressor castes are in positions of power in other countries and in large multi-national corporations. If that gets accepted then they'll work to normalize caste & caste atrocities.

but if we had a law that said 70% of Indian immigrants must be Dalit, I bet that would piss the supremacists off a whole lot.

They'd be hopping mad. You'd be called racist & Hinduphobic and they'd use your country's democracy, media, and laws to defeat such a law.

You talked of Nazi Germany's gas chambers and concentration camps.

India is the oppressor castes made open-air concentration camp which the oppressed castes are born into & cannot escape. Thanks to our Constitution created by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar (the first oppressed caste person who escaped, educated himself, and returned to free the rest of us. To say the oppressor castes hate him is an understatement.) and brave anti-caste leaders, the oppressed have a voice, are able to talk about these crimes against humanity, are able to garner support in their fight to be treated as humans,

What is the need for gas chambers when oppressor castes are barbaric enough to enjoy the public humiliation, torture, and murder of their fellow citizens? They know that the law will not apply to them because the police are also from the oppressor upper castes, if they get arrested after a hue-and-cry they'll be released on bail by judges who are also from oppressor upper castes. If all else fails, the media whch is 99% from oppressor castes & politicians in power who are also from oppressor castes will see they don't get punished.

It's estimated that about 95% of the videos of caste atrocities that come to light are recorded by the perpetrators who use them to boast and gain clout in their community, while their community uses these videos to further terrify oppressed castes.

India is also a world champion in under-counting & under-reporting its covid deaths. Lancet & WHO estimate that 4.2 Million Indians died in Covid 1st & 2nd waves. In every Indian state, electric crematoriums worked 23x7 to cremate the dead (in many cases, their chimneys melted from the consstant use), traditional crematoriums were full & people were forced to create open air crematoriums in public stadiums, parks, and on dried river beds. And thats for those who could afford the wood to cremate their dead. Thos who couldn't either dug a pit in therr backyards and buried their dead without any ceremony. A large no. discarded their dead in rivers or buried them in shallow graves near river banks, hoping the river would carry them away when it flooded. Cemeteries of Muslims & Christians had to be expanded many times over.

Our Union govt & the state govts that presided over this carnage lie that they led the world in managing covid.

In India, its easier for a rapist to get bail than its for a journalist arrested for uncoveing the govt's lies.

To oppressor castes , the caste system is a beloved feature not a bug.

To rapists & their mothers who believe their little boy is innocent, India's broken justice system and corrupt police ensure that rape is a also feature not a bug.

In this blow-by-blow account, peace activist Harsh Mander describes his journey to Manipur, where he met Meitei and Kuki families broken by three months of ethnic violence, life inside the camps where hundreds live in despair, unsure if they will ever return to their scorched villages, and the “extreme culpability” of a seemingly partisan state that has done little to help the minority Christians who have been killed and uprooted in greater numbers.
