If it's a recent picture, his tags are expired. They might care about that.

Universal healthcare in the United States.

My brother in christ, I'm not talking about the pretext the government used to attack Iraq. I'm talking about the fact that the two things had nothing to do with each other.

Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. The fact that the government used that as a pretext doesn't magically link the two things.

I'm not skilled enough to be able to speak to that.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but all I need is a fuse plugin. I don't need specific syncing like a OneDrive/Google Drive app.

we were attacking a country for the president’s personal vendetta

This had nothing to do with 9/11. Invading Iraq was much later. You're conflating the two.

"Bush did 9/11" is crazy talk. "Bush invaded Iraq because he wanted to get back at Saddam Hussein and make money for Halliburton" is not.

It's unclear that they need to handle a specific flavor when they could release a Flatpak. I think the community wouldn't have any problem tweaking the dependencies for particular distros.

My understanding isn't even that there is a law enforcement problem there, but Republicans are going to Republican. The healthcare spending is at least a good thing.

I read that the library now has an interpreter that speaks Haitian Creole and have provided resources for the immigrants to help them learn English. Libraries are always at the forefront of this stuff. They're amazing.

I definitely had trouble accessing the site yesterday, but I don't know about a restore from backup. In any case, thanks to @seahorse@midwest.social and anyone else involved in the technical side for keeping the site running.

No. Cops have convinced a majority of people that they need to be able to break the law in order to protect them.

Not the Onion, but still great satire.

Ohio actually has a law that says if you legally change your name within the last 5 years, it has to be on the petition. In the article it mentions that there is no place for a previous name (dead name in this instance) on the petition, and the Secretary of State’s candidate guide doesn’t mention this requirement at all.

Apparently other trans candidates had their petitions accepted with no problem.

Looks like the Senate bill has gotten better. There is some good and some bad. They're cutting back on home grow and max potency for extracts. They're expunging all convictions on possession of 2.5oz or less, and I think most importantly, allowing people to buy from medical dispensaries for recreational use. Right now, it's legal to possess, but illegal to sell. This should fix that loophole.
