Kinda new to the whole sysadmin thing, but tmux has been an absolute game changer for me. No more remote desktop for long running processes, I can just do everything from ssh.
The main thing about them is that the rule of those communities is that you must post something before you leave, could be anything which is why it seems so random.
My first distro was Manjaro. It was really cool, but also I remember having some trouble getting things to work on it without super extensive troubleshooting.
