On your second point, could you emphasize to him how you're taking the biggest cost for this trip, and that you'd love for him to splurge on a romantic thing for the two of you next time?

I.e. the "first round's on me!" approach

Interesting! This was my desktop wallpaper on KDE Plasma yesterday, and it's cool to see the explanation

Join or start a community plastics recycling effort in the style of Precious Plastics.

If you like 3D-printing, make and use a Trashprinter V3 in combination with a plastics shredder.

IIUC Fennec isn't a fork of Firefox per se, but Mozillas internal codename for the android port of Firefox, which they use as the package name for FF on f-droid.

But yeah, it's a cute name and I understand the dev wants to use it for their Lemmy app, but sure confused me when I saw this community.

Hm fair enough

I suppose it's because the title already includes a supporting statement. Making a comment with an equally, non-extending supporting statement is redundant.

Interesting radio interview as well

Wayland support, would you look at that!

Was it rustdesk or some other popular open source remote desktop software that had "no plans of supporting wayland"? In any case, nice!

Cat is Witches against patriarchy, maybe?

I listen to:

  • Floss weekly
  • Tech over Tea
  • Late Night Linux
  • Linux Unplugged
  • Destination Linux
  • The Linux Cast
  • Linux after Dark
  • Linux downtime
  • Selfhosted
  • Hackaday podcast

As you can see, it's a fairly extensive list. To find your fav, the best bet would probably be to give them a listen and go from there, methinks
