I like that you said "significant number" and your example was one person, you.

Everytime I read this sort of sentiment in a comment I'm just totally confused. Do you think Microsoft only looked at your usage for their reports?

Joining aside, No one is denying it works for you, but the article is suggesting that's not the same for all.

Im happy to draw the line if you want. If you actively take away the lives of multiple people, then your "human rights" (what human rights are being violated?) should be inconvenienced a little and you are made to sit in court.

It's just weird that youd link this scenario to a TV show scene.

It'll be interesting to find out. I personally use rainviewer app on Android for rain notifications/radar. It's been hit miss so far, but generally the same as metoffice (but it has rain radar widget which is what I like)

The above link and rainviewer both have the same rain cloud heading in my general location. The linked app says there will be rain in 25 minutes but no one else does.

You're saying that "citizen rights keep being constantly eroded everywhere" so we should allow actual murderers of children to not attend sentencing for this reason? Wouldn't want to hurt their sense of rights.

Not a chance. I'm not suggesting forcing everyone to appear at their sentence hearing, but for crimes like the one discussed, then they should be made to show up. It's not often murders of at least seven human life's appear in UK courts, but on the rare instances they are, they should definitely be made to show up for sentencing

I think with kids and loot boxes, it's not an issue of people should spend money how they want, but more about being left out.

If it was one game and one kid, loot boxes sure, it's a bit of harmless fun. But as soon as there are a bunch of kids, and one kid has a better item, every kid has to have the better item. And it's all blind luck who gets what, unless you spend everything you have

How often do you find yourself scrolling past shows wondering what to watch, and realise you've wasted 30 minutes doing so?

A coin flip between Radioheads In Rainbow, and Burials Untrue

[–] robbieIRL@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 year ago

"Music has the right " is my current go to album while working. Not a big Boards fan, but that album is perfect for background concentration.

"Beaucoup Fish" from Underworld is my go to if I need a pickup while working.

To answe OPs question, one album I could listen to forever, would be hard but a coin flip between Radioheasd In Rainbow, and Burials Untrue

Trying to bid and win a Wii U off eBay. This might be the hardest step in setting up a Wii U emulation console.

Not sure the details, was going to ask if he was lost as airport is only two miles away. But apparently they needed a doctor on the area fast.

Looks like Newcastle is about 5~10c cooler that other parts of UK this week. You feeling jealous or smug about it?
