Well, a direct invasion of the US is a bad option and the world knows this.

The problem is with Russia is state controlled media. If Putin was eliminated, the world probably wouldn't know for at least a week and that would give their media enough time to tell the public who else they should like instead. It wouldn't surprise me if there is a pre-recorded video of Putin "stepping down" or "retiring".

If you have ever watched Russian state media, you will see they are probably worse than the Ministry of Truth. Their panel discussions are disgusting, actually. Four or five different people, with four or five different "views" that all converge on the same exact points: West evil, Putin god, Russia war machine invinsible, Russians have the best society on earth, everyone else is a nazi.

(I don't want to exclude the rest of the worlds media either. Most major outlets have their own agendas for sure, but Russians probably get the most blatant version. They don't even hide it.)

I would. While pickling is a good way to preserve food, the food itself needs to stay submerged in the pickling solution if not refrigerated. Acids used in pickling solutions are extremely hostile environments for bacteria.

Big caveat: Pickling and fermentation processes can be very different. One process may work to keep food safe for years, but others may only last weeks or days once the food is exposed to air.

Refrigeration slows down bacterial growth enough for days or weeks of storage, but eventually, robust bacteria will take over if there is just a little bit of air circulation. Warmer conditions with occasional air circulation and some kind of food source just increases the risk of bacteria development exponentially.

Before refrigeration was a thing, picking or salt packing was king. It works well, but it's easy to screw up. Heck, I think authentic/traditional kimchi production never uses refrigeration and relies on the acids as well as CO2 and basic ethanol production to stay ~~sterile~~ safe.

These days, just throw everything in the fridge. It's easier and safer because you don't know exactly what preserving processes were used.

I remember seeing some testing videos of Baba Yaga's being used as launch platform for other drones and according to Wikipedia, it can function as a control repeater as well.

But yeah, the concept is solid regardless of the "how". If your carrier drone is only half way to the front (or just over) and used to launch kamikaze drones, the risk is probably minimal but probably more time consuming than anything else.

With good directional antennas, the correct frequencies and analog signals and maybe last-mile AI/image recognition, 30-50 miles should be easy. You could even use a high altitude drone as a signal repeater for even more range with minimal latency.

For perspective: I could communicate with ham radio repeaters using a 5W transmitter and a basic whip antenna at about 150 miles, at 220/440mhz, because the repeater was in a high enough spot, on a distant mountain. Granted, that was only voice but it's still a good representation of what kind of range you can get.

Digital signals at higher frequencies wouldn't have much of a chance.

Edit: We are entering a period of high solar activity as well. While atmospheric bounce is usually reserved for other bands (usually 10m, or ~29mhz) it can absolutely be a thing with higher frequencies now.

That was one of the reasons I put "time" in quotes, actually. However, I had to lean into determinism fairly hard to make a "point" about how chaos is not really chaotic and that humans haven't created any disasters because the disasters "have already happened". (Don't read into that. My jumble of logical fallacies was intended to sound more like an acid trip.)

Time is a funny thing though. We perceive and experience time, but time relative to the rest of the universe is basically irrelevant. Que my rant about how our measurement systems need to have better scaling, but I'll save that topic for the next reading from the Book of Ian.

Only 2 level 100s this season. My spear sorc is great, but super slow compared to my flurry/andy's rogue.

The spear sorc is an awesome maiden farmer. Just stand in the middle and cast ice balls while the spears clear the screen and a bit more. (It's super funny to watch other levelers run around the screen but not get any kills.)

I had Tal's armor drop on day one... at blood maiden.. at level 35. Super weird drop, but I ain't complaining even though I don't think it was supposed to happen. Needless to say, my sorc and rogue were on easy mode for the rest of the time.

I have done a few hundred hoards runs, and I like it. The struggle to get my sorc up to doing T8 was real, but being able to quickly farm masterworking mats was awesome after I did. (The pit was just way too slow last season)

The bugs today with goblins were funny, especially doing boss runs. Seeing all that loot drop just for half of it to disappear was interesting, to say the least. Just today, I think I got over 100 loot bags from goblins and it fully spent the last bit of dopamine I had for this season.

Over all, it was nice to actually get super-premium builds with almost all of my gear maxed and triple affixes in the most critical bits. Mythicals weren't too hard to farm and were a balanced time-suck. (Summoning materials just really suck to farm. I leveled another sorc just for that purpose, but she is basically a mule.)

It was nice to get to a level that I was at in D2 and getting super picky about gear. Spending a few hundred million just to squeeze every last percentage point out of masterworking was very D2'ish. (D2 always demanded perfect gear.) I spent at least a billion on andys alone re-rolling it.

They did good with this season, but I am putting a cap in it until the expansion.

Yeah, that first pot of coffee is just for lulz and keeps me just coherent long enough for my Adderall to kick in.

If a god created the entire universe and even time itself, that would lead us to believe that everything is happening according to a grand plan. Fate is the ruler of the universe and every action is predetermined. If a god has the ability to create every single atom and set it in motion, it should also know the atoms entire journey through to the end of "time".

However, if the universe is simply a metaphorical byproduct of a kid with a chemistry set, then that would explain a few things. Chaos is king. However, our true Lord and Savior, Ian Malcom, tells us that order arises from Chaos, and that every system will eventually self-arrange. Through his teachings and wisdom, we can also prove that the universe is deterministic even if it was born into Chaos.

From these points we can infer that without any doubt, Ian Malcom is the creator of the universe and all that we know. In Ian's name we have already prayed and were always destined to pray. Ramen.

Good point. It wouldn't make any sense whatsoever in that case unless they are just trying to immitate 90's era leet-speak, for whatever reason.
