My wife has a big family and her mother is an angel but crazy. The first 8 years we were together I found it really tough because they were always there. Then after doing some soul searching I came to understand that's just the way it is. I am routinely in peace in total chaos.

Interesting - I had imagined it being imploded into bits like the simulations on the news show.
I couldn't imagine being in a cramped space 2.5 miles under the sea with 4 other people waiting for that time. Horrific comes to mind but I don't think there is an adequate word for it.
Am I the only one who's bookmarks are a hot mess?
I'm an Android user. It's damn near impossible to get around Google. So many good features that they offer that I've been sucked it. Call me a sellout if you want. Tell me that I'm the product. I've got things to do and people to see so I had to shelve my paranoias. I even bought a syno 920+ to curtail their call but find myself still using them - and they use me.
I watched a b-movie documentation kind of about him recently. Wasn't the best but learned some things that it didn't know.
Um. Yeah. Taking a break from it for a few days during the blackout. Checking out the fediverse and am loving lemmy, pixelfed, and mastodon. Just joined kbin today but am a bit confused about it because I haven't found a mobile app that supports it. There are a ton of subreddits that I am missing incredibly, but you know it'll be all right. I'm hoping lemmy grows a bit, but not too big. I just enjoy a string of random posts.
I've been a Plex user for the past 6 years. I'm fairly happy with it, but have always been interested in Jellyfin. From posts I've read in the past, people say it's not as polished as plex. I dl'd and installed jellyfin to my nas yesterday, but haven't had a chance to play around with it. I do have a small-mediumish music library that in the past i've tried several methods (plex, google music [at the time], synology DS Audio] of using the random generator to listen to my music library - with i'm sad to report i found repetative. Just curious about others insights to Jellyfin and how it's worked for them.
I always felt that part of the allure of Reddit was that it was semi-anonymous. Now that I see they're taking the route of Facebook and the like I'm running for the door.
Fuel for the fire? Or a bunch of smoke? I'll believe this is the clincher when he's behind bars.
The Exorcist and The Omen. I cannot watch either again to this day.
