Surprisingly enough I live in EU country and Apple Maps is as precise as it gets. All streets are constantly updated, even major roadworks are added almost instantly.

P.S. I live in a small EU country, not Germany or France

As title states, do you like recent changes in MacOS that make it visually more unified across the ecosystem or you prefer separate design languages for each OS?

I have replaced it myself when it hit 82%. The difference was quite noticeable and definitely worth it. I use my phone lightly (phone calls + messaging), thus it would last around 1 and half a day. Now it easily lasts almost two full days without recharging! 12 mini is still a beast and I personally love it a lot due to its size and performance capabilities :D

Nevertheless, I've ordered the part on my own and would not recommend it if you have never opened phones before

For example, I love cycling around the city. It doesn't take much, it is free and makes me fit. I love driving and seeing happy faces of people, and smiling back to them. Sometimes I stop to enjoy the city landscape: it might be busy, yet the beauty lives right beneath it.

Hi there!

Dumbphones is the community where people discuss methods of reimagining phones in modern world, be that flip phones, candy phones or even smartphones. The goal is simple: embrace phones as a tool rather than anything else.

Absolutely agree on the wallet and charging part. By the way, hello from Estonia :D

I find my phone somewhat overstimulating but not in terms of addiction but as in FOMO: it is capable of so much yet I am using it only for basic stuff. OLED displays, gesture navigation, general smoothness are great and pleasant, yet I somehow feel entrapped into the void. For the context: I have no internet-based apps except Messages, Signal and iCloud on it. No other stuff like browser, app store and etc.

Maybe it is my personal feeling, but when one device controls almost each aspect of your life, it feels somehow uncomfortable. Yet I cannot give up on it because it is truly convenient and embraces positive changes in my life.

I don't know, maybe that's my personal rebellious persona screaming and searching for a reason to exist (I am Gen-Z, thus only going through that early-adult phase)

As title says, do you think having all-in-one device make your life simple?

For me personally, having dedicated devices sounds more logical than ever. iPods do one thing and do them well, phones make calls, Gameboy/3DS/PSP let you play games on the go. Having one device that unites all those activities is awesome (in terms of free space) but makes it more complicated and distracting, doesn't it?

Hi there!

Just as an introduction note, let's discuss what you define as "simple life", what aspects can be applied to it as well as your experiences :D
