I did the math on this recently: GL has approx 3 million Gt of ice and is losing it at a rate approx equal to 260 Gt/yr.

If that rate is constant (unlikely) the first ice free summer in GL will be in 13,500 CE

FCC should impose regulations on search providers to make searching with Google's competition more cumbersome and less useful. You know, 'level the playing field'

as t approaches 2200 CE, the amount of ice lost approaches all of it.

Better spend those Biden Bucks soon! This project will build seven new stations. Hope its completed before funding is potentially pulled by the next administration.

Was this AI trained on an unbalanced data set? (Only black folks?) Or has it only been used to identify photos of black people? I have so many questions: some technical, some on media sensationalism

The Attorney General’s office says the Monroe Power Plant is the third-largest CO2 polluter in the U.S. and moving up its closure from the original 2040 target will result in an estimated 21.2 million fewer tons of CO2 emissions.

Who are the top two??

I think space tourism for the rich and powerful is a great way for these leaders to enjoy the yield of their hard work.

Won't have any trouble with bumpy roads riding on these cushions. At first, I thought it was electrified.

I have a large object that I want to save to the disk because it takes a minute to generate. The OOM reaper kills the process while pickle.dump ing the object.

It's a tuple of dicts of tuple of array.array.

Can pickle dump in chunks? If not, is there another technique I can use?

Local constituency, politicians, bureaucrats, big asphalt, and Ford all agreed that this is something that makes sense and we should build, as humans, to enhance our community.
