charging small amounts from every user instead of having an ad-funded business is probably the most honest and fair way to have a healthy internet

I agree, but wouldn't you think it's far more likely that they would charge small amounts from every user AND have an ad-funded business?

Good to know you're keeping those gates safe. Keep up the good work!

You must be right. I've never lived in and among poverty. Thank you for explaining my life to me. Is there anything else I didn't actually experience?

Lol. Sure sure. Apparently I've been living poor incorrectly by immediately spending my money on things like food, shelter and childcare instead of hoarding it like some kind of Scrooge McDuck wannabe.

You think poor people have money they don't need to spend, so they just keep it stashed away in a shoebox or something? How out of touch are you?

I used to work for a guy who inherited the family company. He used every single loop hole and dirty trick to pay his employees as little as possible, no benefits or insurance... Nothing.

He found out I was turning 40. His advice to me was "a man's age should never be a higher number than the footage of his boat".

He didn't understand that I don't own a boat, didn't own a house, didn't even own my car.

The guy who directed Triangle also did a movie called Creep that's absolutely worth a watch.

Yeah, all those poor folks literally sleeping on cash under their mattresses because they don't have to spend it immediately on things like, you know... staying alive.

The Gate.

The scene with the construction worker traumatized me. Being scared of shit under the bed or in a closet was one thing. Zombies coming out of walls and mirrors was a whole new way to be terrified of everything around me.

It did occur to me that maybe he's taking one for the team.

I don't recall ever seeing one, and even so who cares?

I've been paying for Spotify for years. I've never heard a single promo for a single right wing dipshit podcast.
