It’s admittedly a touch tin foil hatty, but I wouldn’t be completely shocked if this ends up being some elaborate hoax to distract from the Roberts SCOTUS memo leak. “Smoke screen the crazy with more crazy” was one of the Trump admin’s go-to strategies, after all.

I think it’s more that tons of content creators use it as a de facto stress test/benchmark, and AMD/Intel/Nvidia are optimizing things to fully take advantage of their respective hardware such that they perform better in those sorts of “exhibition” scenarios

The peace talks are DOA for the reasons stated quite clearly in the article. And frankly, this should surprise absolutely nobody. The proposals were demonstrably not serious, nor made in good faith - again, for reasons stated quite clearly in the article.

Hey, I’ll say it: if my one of my sisters or my partner was murdered like this (and it absolutely fucking is murder when you withhold lifesaving care from someone because your imaginary friend told you to) due to bureaucratic idiocy and political culture war bullshit, I’d probably decide domestic terrorism against the people who made those rules was a great idea, and, you know, do the things that follow logically from that conclusion.
